About Balsall Common Comedy Club
The original and first of Harvey’s clubs, Balsall Common Comedy Club was set up in 2016 originally held at The Royal British Legion. How did it come about? In 2015 Harvey performed his first stand up comedy gig which went well and more gigs were booked in.
Before long, things had snowballed from doing local open mic nights to being booked on professional standard nights all over the country. Harvey was amazed by the quality of talent he was getting to meet and perform alongside and having grown up in Balsall Common he was desperate to bring the best of this talent back to his home village.
After many sell out shows at The Legion, the demand was such that a bigger venue was required and therefore in 2018 the club was moved to the 150-seater venue of St Peters Hall in the heart of Balsall Common where the clubs continue to sell out.
